Every ingredient that we use in our luxury garment care and homewares collection is chosen with care and consideration. We wanted everything to be safe for use around pets, children and those with sensitive skin or allergies.
Anionic Surfactant - which is a fancy name for a chemical you get from coconuts. It's very good for removing dirt and grime.
Nonionic Surfactant - more coconuts. These ones help the spray to spread further so you use less.
Lactic Acid - if you recognise this, it's probably because Lactic Acid is the chemical that gives you a cramp when you use your muscles too much. We get it from fermented cord. It is a very good disinfectant.
Sodium Hydroxide - salt. Not the same as table salt, but close. You might sometimes hear this called caustic. It is very good at cleaning.
Orange Oil - the oil from a squeezed orange. It's not a very scientific process but it does clean incredibly well. It's particularly good at tackling grease. It's not sticky, don't worry.
Citric Acid - not as scary as it sounds. This is one of the chemicals you find in citrus fruits. In fact, it's where they get their name. You have surely heard of people cleaning things by rubbing them with a lemon. We include citric acid in this formula to give you a less messy way of doing that.
Bella Middleton founded Norfolk Natural Living. She lives in the Norfolk countryside with her husband, Hugo and their three young children. Bella's tips come from a combination of a passion for nature and the wisdom passed to her by her mum, Felicity.
When you think of cleaning the dishes, you probably imagine a soapy bowl brimming with bubbles. What you probably aren't thinking about is all the harsh chemicals swimming around in that bowl.
We make our dish was with only six ingredients. That is everything you need to leave your dishes gleaming.
My mum always told me to leave the pots in to soak while we ate dinner. That way they were easier to wash afterwards.
She was right, of course. If I have cooked a big meal and the pots won't all fit in the sink, I rinse them out then half fill them with water and add a teaspoon of this dish wash before sitting down at the table.
We use completely recyclable materials in our packaging. That includes the bottles and jars that our products are housed in. Please take care to wash them out and re-use/recycle them after use.
