You'll now find us in the town of Aldeburgh, tucked away along the Suffolk coast, having opened our doors in April 2025. Aldeburgh is a charming town where the rhythm of the sea meets the calm of countryside living. With its shingle beach and pastel-coloured 19th century houses lining the promenade, it offers a retreat for those who appreciate coastal beauty and a slower pace.
Aldeburgh Beach
The long, pebbled Aldeburgh Beach is the heart of the town, ideal for mindful walks, collecting treasures, or simply sitting with the soothing sound of the waves- a place where slow living and nature take centre stage.
Exploring The High Street
Aldeburgh’s High Street invites gentle exploration, with independent shops, art galleries, and an award-winning delicatessen showcasing local crafts and foods.
Aldeburgh Museum
Set in a beautifully preserved timber-framed building, this museum offers a window into Aldeburgh’s heritage, inviting you to savour stories of the coast at a relaxed, unhurried pace.
The Red House, Aldeburgh
Once home to composer Benjamin Britten, The Red House is surrounded by tranquil gardens and offers a thoughtful, creative atmosphere, inviting visitors to linger, listen, and connect with Aldeburgh’s artistic soul.
Maggi Hambling’s Scallop Sculpture
This striking sculpture on the shore is both a tribute to the composer, Benjamin Britten and a contemplative spot for reflection, embodying the meeting of art and landscape that defines Aldeburgh’s unique character.
Enjoy The Local Food
Start your day with freshly baked sourdough or a hearty cooked breakfast at a local café, or maybe tuck in to some of the best fish and chips in the country. These are best enjoyed sitting on the beach watching the tide roll in.
Food And Drink Festival
The Food & Drink Festival held annually at Snape Maltings, usually in September, is an event showcasing over 130 local food and drink producers, featuring live cooking demos, masterclasses, children's cookery sessions, and live music. It promotes Suffolk's unique culinary talents and support the local food community,
