At Norfolk Natural Living, we believe in the beauty of the everyday—the sort of beauty that lingers softly, like the scent of lavender through an open window. Our approach is rooted in longevity, honesty and an unabashed love for nature. We make things slowly, by hand, because we believe that care shows.
This is what we call slow luxury—sustainable, plant-based home and wellbeing essentials that don’t just clean or scent your space - they are kind to the planet and bring pleasure to your daily rituals. Think: natural surface sprays that smell like a summer morning. A refillable candle that makes you exhale without knowing you were holding your breath. A perfume that wraps around you like a favourite cashmere jumper. All handmade in our Norfolk workshop, surrounded by hedgerows, salty sea air and a deep-rooted respect for the land.
Why Eco-Friendly Cleaning Still Matters (More Than Ever)
Living by the coast means we see first-hand the effect that waste, chemicals, and throwaway culture have on the environment. Which is why every single product in our natural home cleaning collection is made with botanical ingredients, minimal packaging, and as much thought as you’d give a gift. We use glass and rPET bottles—(these are first collected from nearby beaches and recycled into the bottles we use). And we’ve banned the usual suspects: no bleach, chlorine, parabens, or phthalates. Just gorgeously effective cleaning that’s kind to your home, your skin, and the earth.
Everything is vegan, cruelty-free, biodegradable, and made by hand. We source locally where we can and we collaborate with British artisans who value the same things we do: beauty, function, and a slower, more generous way of living.
The Art of Making: Why Craft Still Matters
At the heart of Norfolk Natural Living is a desire to restore the art of handmade perfume and home care. In a world of mass production, we believe in making things with feeling. Every product is mixed, poured, labelled and wrapped by hand, in small batches, in our Norfolk micro-perfumery. We blend age-old techniques with modern botanical science, guided by the rhythm of the seasons and the changing light.
This isn’t just about nostalgia—it’s about connection. When something is made by hand, you feel it. It gives more than it takes. That’s what we aim for in every bottle: a quiet, thoughtful offering to your everyday.
From refillable soy wax candles to natural room sprays, dog shampoo, hand creams and—of course—our fine fragrances, we craft slowly, so you can savour fully.
Why rPET and Glass Bottles Work Best
We use rPET because it’s the most easily recyclable plastic, and it helps us close the loop with post-consumer recycled content. It’s lightweight, so better for transport emissions, and it gives us a way to reuse what’s already out there. Where possible, we use glass—because it feels beautiful in the hand, it’s endlessly recyclable, and it reminds us that some things are worth keeping.
