Michelle is a London-based writer and photographer whose bestselling books include Love Vintage and Flower Market. Behind the Portrait, her first novel, transports us to Paris in 1935, into a bohemian world of artists, photographers, jazz clubs and hidden secrets.
For one evening, we’ll be bringing the story to life through scent, filling the perfumery with the woody, smoky and atmospheric fragrances of 1930s Paris. Think candlelight, books, perfume and a little bit of mystery.
Michelle will be sharing a short reading from Behind the Portrait, followed by plenty of time for a Q&A, a chat, shop and have your copy personally signed by Michelle (Copies of Behind the Portrait will be available to purchase on the evening.)
Tickets are £5 and that will include drinks and a little free gift from NNL.
