- Tea tree essential oil contains impressive anti-bacterial properties made for a wonderful all round essential. I always have it on hand for when my little one's are feeling under the weather.
Here are a few of my favourite aromatherapy infused recipes:
Ear Ache: Make this into a massage oil and rub around the ear area, up the neck and across the cheek bone: into one teaspoon (5ml) of vegetable oil, mix 3 drops of Chamomile, one drop of Lavender and one drop of Tea Tree. Follow with a warm compress over the area.
Thickened nails: As you age, our nails can thicken. To treat, just add one drop of Tea Tree Oil neat onto any fungal infection.
Anti-viral:Just pop a few drops in a bowl of warm water - or add diluted to a diffuser and allow it to diffuse into the air.
