Spotting Monty don
What a delight to spot Monty Don at RHS, quietly admiring his wonderful new Dog Garden. The garden was designed by Monty and his dog Ned (if you watch gardeners world, you will know all about this!) he simply threw a ball around the garden and designed it all by that - all the plants are pet friendly and you could see so much passion went into this. I think Mr Hobbes would love it!

Launching Columbia Road Parfum at RHS
Last year at Chelsea we launched Wild fig and Gardenia and this year it's Columbia road...
It’s ONLY been a year in the making - gosh it’s been so tricky creating a wildly floral - green - yet entirely unisex scent - which sings of the boundless joy of the flower market. It’s uplifting and sensual… it’s a parfum to celebrate flowers in all their wonderment and I think the RHS Chelsea Flower show is the most perfect place to launch this invigorating scent. We've had such wonderful comments from you all on the stand it brings me SO much joy to see you all enjoying this special scent.

My favourite garden
Amongst the excitement of the flower show, I found myself drawn to The Addleshaw Goddard: Freedom To Flourish Garden. This garden is inspired by the wisdom of a Norfolk colloquialism, 'slow you down' and to remind you to find patience, stillness and calm amongst modern life. This garden is created by a duo from North Norfolk and this garden is a loving tribute to our landscape of marshes, fields and coastal tranquility- designed in harmony with their surroundings. I left feeling inspired to bring a touch of this peaceful spirit to my own garden at home.
